I always feel bad not posting something for weeks. Tumblr guilt or something. I’m always drawing and working on something but just never get around to sharing it.
Here’s just a sample of some recent work. I’ve had some self draws for self promoting I needed to get out of my head and on paper as well. The second image kind of shows a little thought process of a pose I had but going for different angles.
In the end I preferred the second one. Wanted to finish something for PK Zine but other stuff got in the way and so now I have images sketches set up to go with for another day perhaps.

I suppose it’s tradition. I’m cooking some chili and getting some alcohol if I’m going to trudge through this thing.

Pretty epic Victory Road entrance! Waiting for the inevitable trek through a cave and spamming Max Repels as I explore it.

Pokemon Y is the first Pokemon game I can honestly say I’ve really loved in a long time. With Pearl being the last Pokemon I really sunk substantial time in.
They really hit the nail on the head balance wise in this game. It’s the least grindy Pokemon game I’ve played in a long time. It’s got a great sense of style, refreshing environments, characters I actually remember, Mega evolutions (they’ve managed to keep old things fresh), and a cave area I absolutely didn’t dread.
I’m nearly done now. I have found a pretty close approximation of my real life outfit finally, and have only one badge left to get. It’s been 3 days and I’m absolutely enthralled. If you are on my friend list, I send out O-Powers regularly since it’s good to share them (helps level up the abilities and make them stronger). I love earning money so I love any extra bost.
There is so much I could talk about with this games design. If you are a fan of Pokemon and aren’t playing this game you should be ashamed. Also how adorable is it to run into a hoard of Minun.

I don’t think I’ve said this yet on Tumblr, but Donkey Kong Country 2 is one of my all time favorite video games. It’s also the best of the DKC series.
I was lucky enough that I got to design all the art assets for Overclocked ReMix’s DKC2 Tribute album called Serious Monkey Business. It’s pretty fantastic. If you love the Donkey Kong Country series, and especially love Diddy’s Kong Quest, you got to check out the ReMixes for it here;

Playing around on Art Academy. Picked this up the other day. It’s surprisingly pretty cool little drawing program. I actually really enjoy and just reaffirms I need a Wacom Cintiq of any kind. I can’t draw with these disjointed PC Tablets… the Bamboo is nice, but it still feels like trying to draw with my left hand.

New art post. This is something I finished up probably a month ago for a project I’m a part of. For those that don’t know I was the artist for a video game ReMix album called Essence of Lime.
You can check it out here;
I did pretty much 99% of the art assets for the project, and as such am working on the follow up ReMix album based on Oracle of Seasons.
This is just a sample of some of the work I’ve done. Cheers!

OMG! What’s this? An actual drawing by me.
So this is a gift I made for a friend recently, and I thought maybe I’d share it with some of you out there. It was fairly quick, maybe just a few hours of work. I just enjoy making doodles for friends.
Don’t have a lot of followers, but for those who have been gracious enough to follow, thank you, hopefully this is an image that was worth sticking around for.
I think I’ll have another image to post later this week, from either I’m working on currently or have worked on in the past.
